The church is a satellite branch of the KICC church was aimed at assembling local residents of Thamesmead and Abbeywood, by providing them with a place of worship, and shed the growing capacity of the head quarters in Kent. We were commissioned by the Resident pastor to come up wit an effective design and use of the leased space. We introduced a new steel frame gallery in our design to increase capacity.
There is a kitchen area in the building designed for microwaving and cleaning utensils. A slab and a sitting area are in the kitchen for people to sit and eat. Our builders created a space on the wall facing the sitting area for proper ventilation. There are also other rooms in the building aside from the main auditorium. This further proves how we can create as many rooms as needed in a space.
