This was a refurbishment of an old Methodist church which was abandoned for some years. We were given the brief to redesign the building to meet the modern needs of Winners Chapel International. We created a new Auditorium for worship as well as offices and other ancillary facilities and landscape design. PPDML was fully involved in the entire project from RIBA stages 0-7
There is a hallway leading to other rooms in the church, such as the children’s playroom, and a room with a smaller space and an elevated platform also serving as the altar. The same recessed lighting in the main auditorium is in the other rooms, and smaller ones are on the hallway walls. Other doors into the building are by the side of the building with transom windows.
